Enthusiasm builds up for keyboard charity CD

Many readers have told us what a good idea it is to produce a keyboard-organ compilation album with several well known players on board.
One reader has written in to remind us of the old Ad-Rhythm record label featuring many of the all time great players.
With variety being said to be the spice of life, we believe such a compilation CD would be an all time best seller - IF professionally produced for a good cause.
Yet another reader reminded us about several other charity albums - but could not find one with keyboard players.  If you find one, let us know so that we can tell everyone about it.

Well's Cathedral Choir CD

The CD cover pictured here is not a compilation album as such, but an album produced to aid St. Margaret's Hospice in Somerset and features the Well's Cathedral Choir.

In 2010 St.Margaret's celebrated 30 years of caring for the people of Somerset.
The CD album is an example of what can be done by caring people who want to help others and is available from St.Margaret's online shop for £10.

A Reader Looks Back

A reader (on our letters page)  reminds us of the Pontin's compilation album (made by Grosvenor Records - cover shown left) featuring the players at Britain's first week-long Home Electronic Organ Fesitval at Prestatyn, North Wales, in 1981.  This, however, was purely a commercial venture and not related to any charity or good cause.
