Charity CD Example
With keyboard music backing
We asked for examples of any charity CD that has been produced in the past. One such album was produced by the late Freddie Kerswell who appeared at two of the Lyme Bay Keyboard Festivals.
Freddie was an award winning harmonia player who produced an album for the TENOVUS cancer charity.
The keyboard connection is that Ian Griffin provided the backing music for some of the fifteen tracks on the album.
The album produced nearly £10,000 for Tenovus when it was sold throughout their organisation.
The sad part of this story is that Freddie was fit and well when he made the CD with no knowledge that he was later to die with cancer.
