Let's face Facebook

When Facebook was discussed on our 'CHAT' page it caused quite a stir with some controversional comments.  We therefore thought we would add to what has been already said by including the following news item:

We would rather like comments from our readers to see if they still feel secure about revealing facts about themselves on Facebook.  We know it can be said that it depends on how you use Facebook.  But the point is: do you feel comfortable in using it?  Remember, it would take time to remove a malicious programme (if and when it is discovered) so what could happen in the meantime?

Before anyone else says it, we know that the same could be said for computers - but, to us, Facebook seems more of a door that is open to possible strangers with evil intent.  So perhaps it is wise to 'face' the facts as mentioned above.
