Future album with a difference

Compilation album with a difference

Over the years many electronic organ players have produced compilation albums.   These have consisted of tracks from various albums that they, or their recording company, think would appeal to prospective buyers.

Klaus Wunderlich (left), who earned twelve gold discs, was known to have included the same popular numbers in more than one album. Andrew Nix (right) is another player who has just produced a compilation album - mentioned elsewhere on this website.

Now there is news of another player who is going to produce a compliation album - but with a difference.   Ian Griffin (right) is going to ask enthusiasts for THEIR choice of music - in a similar way to what he does in the second half of his live concert shows.

Ian's compilation album will will therefore be different to all others because it will contain the requests from others based on his previous albums.

In addition to the selection of music, Ian is also inviting enthusiasts to give the album a title.   As far as we know, this is the first time an organ-keyboard player has involved enthusiasts in the production of an album.
