The backside of Brand X
Here is the first ever picture of the backside (or to put it more politely - the rear view) of Ian Griffin's Brand X keyboard organ on stage in front of a live audience.
The exclusive photograph (right) was taken at the Wessex Organ World Society by Linda Stanley.
Previous photographs, as shown on the left, have only shown the front of Brand X when it faced the audience. At WOW the organ was positioned in the more conventional manner. The video camera and screen showed the audience the player's hands on the keyboards, which is now becoming a standard feature at most societies.
Due to the fact a trailer is used to transport the Brand X keyboard-organ, it means increased motor fuel costs, therefore Ian often uses the same keyboard configeration without the cabinet. The sound, of course, is exactly the same.
