David Stanley of WOW reports about a dedicated show that is broadcast on the Internet

"I am sorry if you missed the Internet programme on 16th July which was excellent. The first hour made reference to what was to come and the second hour was all about the Organ Scene and Wessex Organ World Society.

Tributes were made to Cled Griffin and his family as originators of Britain's festival scene and to Jean Martyn, the president of the society.  We are hoping to get a CD of the Radio Broadcast.  Organ music was played by Ian Griffin (who played for the society on 21st July), Jean Martyn, Chris Powell and Dirk."

David Stanley of the Wessex Organ World Society has just returned with his wife, Lin, from Jean Martyn's 60th birthday party celebration weekend where he had an enjoyable time.   As mentioned above, Jean is the president of WOW where she is held in high esteem.
