Success and then Sadness for Jean Martyn
We sadly report that Jean Martyn's mother passed away the day after the BTG concert tour finished. It is understood that Jean's mum has been in poor health for some time. We give Jean and her family our sincere sympathy.
Her mother Phyllis Watterson (left) who was known to friends and family as Vi, died at the age of 92.Jean, who recently turned 60, returned to her home in Brewood after the final night of the Britain’s Got Talent tour in Bournemouth, described her mother as a “wonderful woman who never moaned”.
