Will Jean Martyn rejuvenate the electronic organ scene?

We can't help wondering if Jean Martyn's much acclaimed appearance on ITV 1 Britain's Got Talent will rejuvenate the nation's electronic organ scene - or will the expected return of Simon Cowell put a damper on things?  The present judges said 'yes' to almost every act on one particular show  - Simon Cowell won't.

Simon Cowell is already on record as saying: 'I don't like those things!'   (referring to organ/keyboards).  Having said that, we hope he will like Jean.  One thing we are sure about - he has not seen the multi-talented Jean in the way that many have seen her at Cled Griffin's festivals - or rather, keyboard experiences.

If Jean goes on the national tour of the show, it will be yet another opportunity to publicise the art of playing these modern instruments.

We wish Jean well and hope that her appearance will, in some way, benefit all the other players who entertain audiences all the year round  - not to mention all those who play at home as a hobby.
