Martin Harris in Japan Earthquake

Martin Harris, known in Yamaha circles as Mr Tyros because of his involvement in the design of the Tyros keyboard, is currently in Japan and felt the result of the recent earthquake, which was about 150 miles from his location.

Martin first became noticed in 1981 when he entered the junior talent competition at the first week-long home electronic organ festival at Pontin's Tower Beach hoiiday centre at Prestatyn, North Wales.

We hope that Martin is well and will have a safe journey home after visiting the Yamaha design team.
