Jean Martyn - BGT - Update +

Prior to Christmas, Jean performed a concert in her local Church and raised £1600 for Help for Heroes. Following this, she played the classical pipe organ in Birmingham Cathedral, with the Lord Mayor of Birmingham and other dignitaries in attendance. This concert was again for charity to raise funds for Kidney research.

On Christmas eve, Jean received news that she had been invited by Thames Television to audition for Britains got Talent. So far Jean has attended three auditions and will be attending a further audition in London the weekend of the 5th and 6th of March. This being the final audition before the programme goes fully live. The competition is judged solely on entertainment value of the performers, and the judges at the last audition were Michael McIntyre (below left) Amanda Holden (right) and David Hasselhoff (above left).  Their comments were extremely favourable and Jean performed to a packed audience in the Manchester Opera house and received a standing ovation.
