The Keyboard Art of Playing for Singers

Apart from fun and laugher with Andy Oakley, another objective is to show the home organist-keyboard player the art of playing for a singer.   The special technique was highlighted by Ian Griffin when Andy did a tribute to Matt Monroe and Jimmy Reeves at the Sherborne Keyboard Winter Warmer.

In addition to festival events, the playing technique is also highlighted whenever Ian and Andy are booked by organ-keyboard societies, making it an entertaining evening with a big difference.   Home organists can certainly benefit from these shows if they like to (or want to) play for family and friends to sing.
