Penny's War on Spam

I get increasing numbers of emails with lots of other peoples' email addresses at the top. It's when they get mailed out like this that we open the doors to 'nasties'.
If I'm sending an email to several recipients, I need to use the Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) setting. On Outlook Express, which I use, this means clicking on "Cc:" then clicking on the people I want to mail in my address book and then clicking on the BCC button (not the TO or CC) button. By doing this, it avoids those great long lines of other peoples email addresses getting posted to all and sundry.
I will be posting this to everyone, but hopefully I will have done it right (!) so you won't be able to see the whole of my address book. If not, I've got it wrong, and my blushes will illuminate the dark winter nights :-)
Here's to some successful spam splatting!
