Pontin's in Administration
New links added below
It has been reported that the Pontin's Holiday Group has gone into administration due to a cash flow problem. Graham Parr, Pontin's chairman, states the banks were refusing to help as they did last year.
Britain's Home Electronic Festivals started at Pontin's Barton Hall, Torquay in 1980 when they had over 25 sites throughout the UK - now they have only five, including Pakefield, which hosts the twice annual Keyboard Cavalcade events run by Grant Neal.
Graham Parr said Pontin's will continue trading until a new buyer is found.
