PRESS RELEASE FROM MSS STUDIOS/ORGAN1st:

ORGAN1st Radio launched in October 2007 with the November 2011 edition marking our 50th show. The first fifty shows contained a visual slideshow as a backdrop to the music (we were the first organ/keyboard show to do this). However in January 2012 this will be discontinued in favour of an audio only podcast which can be downloaded to your MP3 player via iTunes etc. Show 51 (online on December 1st) will be the last one containing visuals.

Show 50 is already available on iTunes as an audio podcast and our Christmas show will follow on December 1st. You can subscribe via iTunes to get the new shows, or visit our website.

The show is presented by ex-BBC broadcaster Alan Ashton and features old and new recordings of theatre organs, electronic organs and keyboards. This show contains everything from Wersi to Wurlitzer and Hammond to Compton organs. Alan has also created videos of many famous organists which can be seen on his gramRfone channel on YouTube.

The Podcast is maintained by MSS Studios who also run the ORGANS.co.uk website where some of the recordings played on the show can be purchased.
