The proposed extension for the hall has now been finally approved by Aberdeenshire Council on the 14th. June with all outstanding financial issues resolved.

KCHUG understand the on site works will commence on the 4th. July.

Aberdeenshire Capital Grants: 24.1%

Marr Area Partnership: 0.8%

Aberdeeenshire Landfill Entrust: 8.0%

Cooperative Society Community Fund: 1.6%

Hugh Fraser Foundation: 5.6%

Keig Community has financed the remaining 13.2%
