Hi & welcome,I am Karen Ferguson & along with my partner Jamie Hyslop we are KARDHUB BULLDOGS.

Our affix KARDHUB(pronounced Kardoo) was granted in February 2004.We are a small hobby/show kennel situated in the village of Hurlford in Ayrshire. We travel hundreds of miles to show our dogs & although we may not always win we always bring the best dog home!! Our aim is to breed healthy,happy bulldogs who live to a ripe old age. We always put HEALTH before WEALTH.

My first love was Akita's & I got my first one in 1996,she was called Kuma,18 months later Psalm joined the family. Kuma didn't like showing but Psalm loved it & this is when I was bitten by the showing bug!!

At this time my sister was looking into getting a bulldog & persuaded me to go & see a litter in Wigan with her. We saw 10 puppies & she brought home the 1 I had chosen,he was called Belushi Woodcutter...A.K.A Dylan & what a character he was!! Unfortunately her circumstances changed & she had to give him back to his breeder,he was then re homed & went on to father a champion & become Top Stud.

From now on I also watched the bully classes at shows & decided I'd get 1 of my own. In 2001 I bought Halukabull Phenomenon...William,but sadly he had been born with terrible health problems & died just 2 weeks after his 2nd birthday. I was devastated by this but decided I still wanted bulldogs in my life so along came Sofi,she had 1 litter & from this I kept Dora. I then bought Ernie & mated him to Dora,from this mating we have Peppa Pig!! So we now have a wee furry family ranging from 20 months upto 8 & a half years.

Ernie loves showing & has won many classes,BPIB's & gained his Stud Book number in 2009. In August of this year he was awarded the Challenge Certificate at S.K.C...what a day that was for us...I still can't quite believe it!!
