So wonderful to find this site. Thanks so much for it ! Wouldn't it be great to have refreshments in the park again ? A coffee shop, with more benches would be great (like St Andrew's square in Edinburgh).

Save Union Tce Gardens
A friend of mine walks his dog there every day, so it will be turned into a building site for say 2 years, where can he walk his dog in an open space, will he live long enough to enjoy the mini forest that is being planted? Don't mean to be rude but I doubt it, he enjoys the changing seasons and views of the park on a daily basis so what is in it for him?

My idea is to totally renovate the toilets add a cafe a few local stalls selling locally produced goods mini golf and on a nice day get the music on .
