The aim of the website is to let people know about the work I am undertaking. I have a blog section which will give you up to date information on what I've been up to recently. 

My name is Julia Wiedermann and Project Trust selected me as a volunteer to go to Senegal for a whole year to teach and work in the local community. My aims include: work with children; learn new skills; emerge myself into an unknown culture; develop my French language; stand on my own feet; work alongside medical professions and possibly helping out at the local health clinic; life long memories;

Project Trust is a Registered Charity which sends around 200 young volunteers abroad to 25 countries annually. It is widely respected as one of the most experienced and professional Gap Year organizations in Britain. Project Trust is special in that it sends volunteers abroad for a whole year as they feel that this is the only way for a volunteer really to learn about and appreciate the local culture, language, feel for the country and so to be able to make a difference.
