Jilly is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London where she studied classical violin. She is also a jazz/funk/latin saxophonist.

She teaches saxophone, violin and piano privately at her home in Streatham, London SW16 as well as teaching for the London Borough of Lambeth.
