Robert left a considerable collection of Chess books and his family gave them to our club to be used in whatever way we saw appropriate.

During the course of the June Inverness Chess Congress we raised £258.20 for Macmillan Cancer Support by selling around three quarters of his collection at the bookstall organised by Lisa Maclennan.

Many thanks to all the folk that supported this by acquiring one of Robert’s old books.
