Andrew Newton played Richard Birkett at the club last night and managed yet another win.

Both players used most of their 40 minutes in the first 20+ moves and so the game was almost finished at Blitz speed with Richard losing on time.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Andrew meets David Gibb, this result could be very important to Richards chances of staying in contention for first place.
