The 3rd Inverness Junior Tournament has just ended and it was another success for NEJCA who organized and ran the event. This year we were honoured to host the Keith Hoban Memorial Trophy which was incorporated in the event, I am sure Keith would have been very proud to see the result of his legacy.
There were 50 entrants, including 11 new entrants to this event, all the way from Portknockie and Rothiemay Primary schools; they even had their own bus!, among others were 6 from the legendary Balloch Primary School. It has to be said all the juniors were a credit to their parents and their schools; they put a lot of effort into the games and in between rounds were patient waiting for the next round to start.
The Chieftain Hotel again provided the venue for free and managed to serve all our pre-ordered lunches in a very short space of time, our thanks go to Ralph Mercer and his team for all their hard work.
I have added photos from the event on our photo page, have a look and see for yourself all the action!
The venue is again booked for next year and will be held on Saturday March 24th.
