Following their good run in our own Hugh Ross Triples Moira and Judi found themselves making the trip to Ayr to try to bring the Four Bowl Pairs back for the third time.  Alas it was not to be with them losing in the first game by one shot, the decision being confirmed by an umpire's measure, in a game which lasted fully three hours.  Never mind ladies there is always next year.

The results for the North, both male and female, were disappointing .
