Dear All,

 

I have been much busier than I ever envisaged I would be this summer, I simply have not had the time for FS or the VA.  This coupled with the fact that the server where we had our crew system and forum based on losing everything we had based there due to a back-up problem, and changing the back-up system since I did my last back-up means that I can no longer re-upload the systems again without a massive amount of work.  This coupled with the continuing saga with AVSIM, and further changes I was hoping to make would just make this all far too much work for me to even comprehend at the moment.  Therefore I have decided to take a complete break from the VA business for a while.
 
I'm not sure when or if I may return to it, but if I do then at least some of the required systems will already be in place.  I may also open up some of the stuff I have done to other people to take over, but I am also weary of this as the shear amount of work involved in just the transfer process would probably be a bit too much at the moment.
 
I apologise greatly for mucking everyone about so much. It really was not my intention to string you along like this, it has taken me a long time to come to this decision, but the more and more obstacles that keep hitting flyintAIR have just become too much work.  I had hoped to get it running to a state where it meant I had very little work left to do on a regular basis, but this has not happened and the task list just keeps getting longer and longer.
 
I wish you all well, and hope that if I ever do start up again that we may be able to work together again.  Again my apologies for all of the inconvenience I have caused you, but I hope that you understand.  I will keep the email address flyintair@gmail.com running for a while, so if you ever want to get in touch, then please do not hesitate.
