Imlil Authentic Toubkal Lodge is a traditional Berber house perched above Imlil in the village of Arghen. Our Lodge provides stunning views of Imlil’s valleys, the summit of Toubkal, and the High Atlas mountain range.
From the balcony, you can prepare yourself for the day ahead whilst we provide an ample breakfast to fuel your adventures. We are ideally located for hiking in the surrounding valleys and mountain peaks, and our lodge is a perfect departure point for many exciting trails including the famous Jebel Toubkal. If required, we can arrange for muleteers and their mules to take care of your heavy rucksacks. After your excursions, you can enjoy a hot shower and we can prepare delicious mint tea that will restore you.
For those after a more relaxing or crafty holiday, we offer a range of courses upon request. You can learn skills such as making traditional Moroccan tea, or use our kitchen and resources to learn how to make local dishes such as delicious tagines and homemade breads. Additionally we can arrange for you to learn from the locals about rug making, or teach you about the Berber language we use here in the High Atlas.
In the evenings, you can relax in our guest rooms while we prepare soups, tagines, couscous and delicious fresh bread for dinner. All our dishes are made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and fresh fruits are available in your room.
