Ian is a Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health with more than 40 years’ experience working in the Health and Safety Profession holding a Master Degree (MSc) in Health & Safety Management. Ian has held the position of Director of Ian Crowe Health and Safety Consultancy Ltd since 2011 previously working across four North West Local Authorities were he was responsible for providing strategic direction to ensure health, safety and well-being excellence, as such he received an award for outstanding work in the public sector. Ian has been instrumental in driving forward change throughout his career not only in the health, safety and well-being environment, but also in the development, maintenance of statutory compliance assurance, emergency preparedness and business continuity. Ian is passionate about driving forward change in health and safety, as such is Chairman of the North West Safety Initiative and a committee member of the Merseyside & Cheshire Construction Safety Group.
