Bring along your apples for our press to juice. Once again, Pomona, the trailer press of the Common Players will be in action. Capable of juicing apples at a staggering 1 litre/minute it really takes the leg work out of juicing. You'll be amazed at the fresh natural flavour of real juice.

This year we are pleased to offer an additional element - a series of sideshows and entertainments. Local performers from Uncommon Players will be working in collaboration with Prom-Prom productions, a Devon company specialising in Traditional English Entertainments to create a series of activities around the press. We envisage interludes of songs, stories and puppets, together with sideshows such as a Try Your Strength machine, a Longest Apple Peel competitions and Apple Bobbing. The performers will run these activities and perform in the presentations, creating a high-energy festive atmosphere to accompany Pomona apple pressing.
