Free training workshops on structure and governance!! (including one in Exeter)
The Big Lottery have funded an additional year of the highly successful Enterprise Support strand of Making Local Food Work. As part of this support, also offering practical support, mentoring and study visits, Co-operatives UK and the Plunkett foundation are offering 4 free training days this Autumn around the structures and governance of community food enterprises.
These workshops are free to anybody involved in setting up or supporting the set-up of any community food enterprise.
The workshop will be facilitated by Mark Simmonds, Field Worker for Co-operatives UK. Mark has supported many of the community food enterprises that have emerged over the last few years and uses this knowledge and experience in the workshops to demystify the seemingly bewildering choices around structures and models which confront those setting up any co-operative, social or community enterprise.
