We have just created a new section on our 'resources' web page, with links to all our template policies and procedures in one place.

Although we know many community gardens like to keep things relatively informal and paperwork to a minimum, we think it is very good practice to put together an information folder for your group.  A folder will help you keep copies of all your policies, procedures and forms in one place, which can easily be referred to by both new and existing members.
To help you with this task, HogCO have put together a set of template documents which we think together form a really good information folder.  Best of all, all of the documents have been designed so that you can easily alter them to suit your specific requirements, or simply fill in the missing gaps!  
Not only will this folder help you make sure you are complying with your own policies and procedures, but it will also guide you through the process of welcoming new volunteers to your group in a clear and structured way. Something that will prove both beneficial to the existing group and the new member, helping you establish the expectations of both sides at an early stage.
