We've been asked by some of you various questions about selling your produce, so we've decided to organise a small event to try and answer some of these questions all together. If you make products from your community garden such as jams, chutneys, juices or cakes and would like to find out more about selling these to the public, this is a day you want to attend!

The event will take place on Friday 30th March from 10am to 2.30pm in Stroud (Gloucestershire) and will include talks from a council Environmental Health Officer, a spoke person from Country Markets, a FCFCG development worker and someone involved in the setting up of various co-ops and similar local food projects.

The day will probably not answer all questions about your individual case, but should provide you with a good overview of the process, loads of useful information, signposting to get the help/info you need and a few helpful resources.

If you would like to attend please write back (details below) with a reply to the following headings:

• Name & address of the group you are coming from
• Which products the group is thinking in selling & where (if you know)
• 2/3 key questions you would like to find out more about (can be as general or specific as you wish)
• Would you like to take part in a tour of the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project on the grounds of the college afterwards (2-2.30pm)?

The event is free for FCFCG members and £5 for non-members. A small vegetarian lunch & hot drinks will be provided.
