The Ashcombe Community Garden will be leasing land from the parish council to use a 3.8 acre field on the outskirts of Riddlecombe. There will be allotments available but most of the field will be run by the community as a group. There are already some established fruit trees and they hope to plant more. They plan to manage the woodland by the stream as wildlife habitat. One of the primary aims is to provide a place for the community to get together socially, as there is no other community space in Riddlecombe.
