YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO OUR FARM OPEN DAY

It has been a year since our first public meeting to launch the farm and volunteers have been working hard on the farm over the last few months, clearing, tidying and making ready. Perimeter fencing has been installed by the National Trust and making a new safer entrance has been completed. The grassed field, “Boohay” is now lush, our first livestock have settled in and some initial crops have already been planted.

Come and see for yourself what has been done and what we hope to achieve. You will be able to talk to our existing volunteers about what they do and find out how you can get involved. There will be tours of the farm and buildings and a map showing what is planned for the future will be on display. There will be details of the share offer and a chance to sponsor heritage apple trees for the orchard. We will be also be planting saplings to start restoring the hedges.
