We have now started working in the gardens and have a regular work day on Sunday mornings. We are planning a workshop on Composting and a talk on Gardening in Small Spaces. Watch this space!

Who we are

We are the gardening group of the Teign Estuary Transition group.

We wish to create a community space open to all and accessible to all for community participation in growing and harvesting local food (possibly specialist crops). We will be sharing skills and knowledge as well as working together to encourage community ownership.

January 2011

We have been offered the use of part of the walled garden in Eastcliff Gardens. The area has the remains of several greenhouses, some of them dating back to 1889! They are ideal for us to use as raised beds and we plan to weed a couple of them and plant some salad crops and potatoes in the next couple of months.
