HIGHLAND LINKS GOES OFFSHORE
Earlier this year, prints of various golf courses were shipped by Highland links to the Janice FPU situated in the central north sea. Brian Gemmell of Maersk Oil, (the platform operators), requested Highland Links to supply 10 prints framed and mounted for showcasing throughout the accomodation block on the platform. Brian who is a keen golfer himself was very impressed with the work Derek has done to date and since the prints have arrived on Janice they have received a lot of interest.
In,"THE NEWS - PHOTOS", section of this site a photograph of some of the platform regulars has been included - this was taken in the quiet room which is primarily used for reading and generally getting a wee bit of peace and quiet as the name suggests.
