I am a graduate and co-operator of the''Ef Zein'' School of Yoga, in Greece,certified by the International Yoga Federation.

I teach Yoga classes both in Edinburgh and in Greece,  convinced that Yoga is appropriate for all people and offers huge benefits.

Each of my classes includes a fusion of  Hatha Yoga techniques which derive from various key Hatha yoga schools;Iengar, Scaraveli, Therapeutic Yoga of circle and cross, Vinyasa and other. Pranayama(breathing exercises) and guided relaxation/meditation are iseparable componenets of my classes too.

I also employ  and adjust asanas in partners or in a sequence with focus on the coordination of controled movement and breathing(Vinyasa Flow)in order to deepen in every asana and gain its maximum benefits.

Each class aims to assist practitioners to improve their well being. Practitioners through instruction and assesment gain good self awareness, and restore their body and mind health.

YOGA FOR OVER 60'S

The practice of Hatha yoga is essential in order to strengthen your heart and all internal organs. It helps you to maintain your body strong, flexible and makes you  feel not only  vital, but also relaxed and positive.

YOGA IN PREGNANCY

A pregnant that faces no serious complications can practice any Hatha Yoga tecniques from the very begin of her pregnancy. Hatha Yoga practice will enable her to gain a great control of her body, and of her breath which assists in overcoming anty general or particular to the birth fears. She is managing her weight, and reliefs from the pain that her big body change may bring.

YOGA FOR CHILDREN

Children from 4 to 12 years old are introduced to simple Yoga techniques through playful ways such as games and stories. They become aware of their bodies and breathing, build confidence, and enhance their immune system.
