Please send your videos of the Peace Hour to info@harpistsforpeace.com. All the videos will be made into a collage which will be posted on this page when finished. Each participant will also be sent a copy as a memento of the event.

To quote Deborah Henson-Conant, here is a 'Gurl's Guide' to sending your video!

First, transfer the video from your camera onto your computer, and edit it if you wish.

Then, the most convenient way to send your video to us (or to anyone else) is to upload it to a video sharing website such as YouTube. For those unfamiliar with YouTube, basically it's a free online video service that allows anyone to view, upload and share videos that can be viewed by anyone else in the world with an internet connection. All you have to do once the video is uploaded is to send a link to the page with the video on.

Now, here are some simple instructions for uploading a video to YouTube.

1. First sign up for a free YouTube membership
2. Click on the 'Upload Videos' icon in the upper right corner of the YouTube home page, then choose 'upload video file' from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on the grey 'upload video' button, find the file on your computer and click 'open'. The video will then begin to upload. This will take quite a while.........
4. In the meantime, you can fill in all the info about your video. You'll want to include relevant keywords in your title, description and 'tags' that people will use when searching YouTube for video content. Suggested tags in this case could be: harpists for peace, peace hour, harp, harpist, [your name]. (Keep in mind, that YouTube video pages appear in Google's search results. So it's possible that someone searching for 'harpists for peace' on Google will stumble upon your video on YouTube without actually searching YouTube directly). Select the appropriate category and privacy level for your video (if you'd like to only select people you invite to be able to view your videos, choose 'Private'. Otherwise, if you'd like anyone in the world to be able to view your videos, you should select the 'Public' option). Click 'save changes'.
5. After your video has finished uploading, click on 'go to my videos'- near the bottom.
6. Click 'play' to play your video!
7. To share your video, click 'share' (underneath the video). You'll then be given several options. To share by email, just copy and paste the link given into an email or instant message. You may also wish to share on Facebook- just click 'Facebook'.

Hooray- your video is now on YouTube!!
