Unfortunately, the Invercharron Highland Games, Bonar Bridge, traditionally the final Games in the Scottish season, has had to be cancelled. It was due to take place at Balblair Farm, Invercharron, Bonar Bridge, on Saturday 15th September.
Issues with the field, which are beyond the Committee's control and the need to obtain a new Entertainment Licence at short notice, has forced the Committee to make the difficult decision, to cancel their Games for 2018.They apologise for any inconvenience this decision may cause
The Committee are currently negotiating to procur a different venue for future years.
The final positions for the HAHGA Heavies League and the HAHGA Track & Field League, will now be decided at the Glenurquhart Highland Gathering, Drumnadrochit, on Saturday 25th August.
The final for the HAHGA Timed One Lap Cycling League, will now be held at the Grantown on Spey Highland Games, on Sunday 26th August. Though not members of the Highland Area Highland Games Association, the Grantown on Spey Committee will welcome all cyclists to their Games, where they have a very strong cycling background and already hold a Timed One Lap Cycle event.
