The final SHGA and HAHGA Games of the 2016 season, at Invercharron, decided the outcome of the inaugural HAHGA Heavies League and its innovative Cumulative Weight Over the Bar competition.

Points were hard to win, as 11 Heavies were in attendance and competed for all the points and prizes on offer. Throughout the 2016 season, over 30 different Heavies had taken part and had earned League points, in both HAHGA competitions.

The Heavies League was eventually won by Jason Young (Tain), with 199 points. John MacLeod (Lochinver), was 2nd with 188 points and Jamie Gunn (Halkirk), was 3rd with 162 points.

The innovative 56lb Cumulative Weight Over the Bar competition, was won by John MacLeod (Lochinver), with a combined height of 89' 6". Jason Young (Tain), was 2nd with 84' 8" and Jamie Gunn (Halkirk), was 3rd, with a height of 80' 3".
