Unfortunately, due to heavy rain impacting on the entrances and fields at Strathpeffer, the Secretary of the Strathpeffer Highland Gathering, has issued the following message, regarding cancellation ofthir Games:

"It is with the greatest sadness I write this post, for the first time since our games have run we are having to cancel, we have been inspecting the parking for 2 hours and came to the conclusion that it is just not possible to get cars in and certainly not out again, some parts of the car parking is under several inches of rain. Traders and shows arriving early are already stuck in deep ruts.

We have not taken this decision lightly, we have put 2 weeks into setting up the field and some of us almost 12 months of organising.
