Stormont Hall is situated opposite the World Famous Blacksmiths Shop

It was built in 1906 for the community of Springfield and Gretna Green

The Hall is community owned and run by a management commitee who are elected each year at the Anunual General Meeting

The committee have been successful in obtaining a number of grants from Dumfries and Galloway Council Village Hall Improvement Scheme, Annandale and Eskdale Area Committee and Awards for All. 

   Because of this the committee have been able to bring the hall up to a good usable standard, this also includes a newly refurbished and fully equipped kitchen

The hall is a popular venue for a variety of social activities  which include dances,concerts,exercise classes, slimming classes.
