Ethan Harris, Edinbane, Isle of Skye becomes the first recipient of the Darren Macrae Memorial Shield. The award, in memory of the late Darren, GWC piper who sadly passed away in June 2012, goes annually to the top junior fundraiser (Under 16) in the Great Wilderness Challenge. Ethan, himself a young carer, raised a magnificent £1143 for Skye & Lochalsh Young Carers in the 2012 GWC.
