Five swimmers were competing in the Elgin Spring Meet at Buckie swimming pool on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th February. They were Jessica Schulz, Freddie Talbot-Heigh, Holly Corcoran, and Danielle and Lucy Ella Mcmaster.

All swimmers came home with PBs and gained valuable experience of competing in a range of strokes and distances such as 200 or 400m, where pacing, counting and sprinting technique are all required.

On the medal podium, two weeks in a row, was Danielle Mcmaster (pictured on the far right), collecting a silver medal for her 200m butterfly, girls aged 12-13 years, complete with a 45.48 seconds PB.

Younger sister, Lucy Ella Mcmaster won a bronze medal for her 200m freestyle, girls aged 10-11 years, with a time of 2.51.19 seconds.
