Funding for the hire of the competition pool was received from Sainsburys Community Grant Fund. A total of £360 has been secured from this fund for 50m training events.

Club Chairwoman, Shona Fraser, who applied for the funding said:

“The children had a great time learning how to pace themselves in a 50m long course pool on all their strokes. The diving session was a buzz of activity and without doubt the highlight for all the swimmers."
