There was multiple medal success for Grantown Swim Club at the recent Buckie Age Groups swim meet. All five swimmers secured personal best times with Jamie Kant improving his 100m breaststroke by 29.71 seconds. Andrew Airey tested out his stamina with seven races totalling 1400m.

Katie Hay took the gold for her 200m fly and 400m IM. Her 100m and 200m freestyle swims were worthy of silver medals.   Joshua Talbot-Heigh won gold for his 400m IM; silver for 100m breaststroke and 100m fly; and bronze for his 100m freestyle. Bronze medals went to Jessica Schulz for 200m breaststroke and 200m freestyle.

Club coach Morag Macleod, who supported the swimmers at the meet said: “All swimmers did amazingly well.  There were great personal achievements and swims. It was spectacular to be part of the event.”
