12 members of Grantown Swim Club Junior Squad competed in the Elgin Mini Meet, held on Saturday 9th June, at Buckie swimming pool. 
Josh Talbot Heigh (8) came home with 4 gold medals and won the award for the top 8 year old male swimmer.   Lauren Philip (11) also returned with 4 medals (two gold, a silver and bronze) while Calum MacIntosh (9) took 2 medals (a bronze & silver) and Andrew Airey (10) won 2 medals ( both silver).
The two 8/9 year old mixed relay teams came home with 2 sets of bronze medals, coming in 3rd place in the medley relay event and in the freestyle relay event (swimmers Nia Quinn (9), Katie Hay (9), Josh Talbot Heigh, Calum MacIntosh, Caitlin Hollands (9)). 
The whole Grantown team had a successful meet with other team members Daisy Wisely (10), Rebecca Eaves (10), Robyn Barnett (10), Sophie MacLean (10)& Paul McGovern (10) all gaining personal best times.
