The story so farJarlath Henderson/Ross Ainslie TrioNew Year, New ProgrammeYou know when you've been Shoogled....Too much of a good thing?Index A Blazin start to the autumnby Jennie Macfie - 11:18 on 09 September 2008A total sellout - we were hunting for usable chairs in the shed out the back and latecomers had to stand. What a night! Teya (Bawden) and Andrew (Rough) had the nerve-wracking task of opening for the Blazers and acquitted themselves very commendably. Aidan O'Rourke introduced them and stood out front for the whole set. Then the main event began - and set the stage alight. What a night! I can't remember seeing a happier audience. Now we're looking forward to the Orkestra del Sol and Shooglenifty, as well as two wonderful teatime concerts in October and the extraordinary interactive murder mystery ceilidh phenomenon that is "Accidental Death of an Accordionist". And more.... x Add your comment |
