Congratulations to our Senior Player Connaire Harrison for his recent inclusion in the County panel for the McKenna Cup. Here's hoping for the National League and Championship. More plaudits for Connaire as he was nominated for the GaelicLife Ulster Club All Stars in association with the GAAstore.com. Even though he didn't make the final team it's encouraging to see his talent recognised for such a prestigious nomination. He'll always be an All star to us . Congratulations to Loughinisland for getting three awards on the night.
Youth club this week was a great success with the young group having their last "Relax Kids" session. The theme was Snow White & the seven dwarfs. This was an enjoyable end to the "Relax Kids" sessions for the kids. Thank you so much to Donna for making this great opportunity available to the youth group. The themes every week were magical and enchanting for the kids and took them on a fairytale journey which they loved.
The older kids made their chocolate milkshakes and took part in fun challenges! On top of this they had a pool tournament, played darts and table tennis. It was a busy and funfilled youth club session.
The youth club times this week are 6.30pm - 7.45pm for the young group and 8pm - 9.15pm for the older group. We have a packed itinerary for both groups for the remainder of January and all of February. Keep an eye out on Glasdrumman Youth Group's facebook page for full details.
There will be a meeting for anyone interested in helping out with the juvenile teams this season on Wednesday 3rd February in the clubrooms at 7.30pm.
Juvenile Registration will be on Sunday 14th February in the clubrooms from 2pm - 4pm.
