Glasdrumman Notes we 25th October 2015

The U-11s had a convincing win over Rostrevor on Sunday morning showing that hard work in training pays off!
Training for the U-11s has now finished and we would like to that all the kids who came to training every week with a great attitude towards their mentors and to each other.  This attitude was also evident every game making the kids a delight to work with and Sunday morning football matches enjoyable for everybody.  Thank you to the parents for their continued support.  Lastly thanks must go to Paul and Johnny who dedicated their Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings to helping these young boys and girls learn and develop their skills.
Youth club was a great success this week with the girls being treated to a pamper night courtesy of resident beautician Annemarie! They learned how to cleanse, tone and moisturize their faces correctly and even had time to paint and do nail art on each others nails. The girls thoroughly enjoyed their night!
The boys had their annual Fifa Tournament and this year Fifa 16 provided the usual competitive nature of this competition. A few of the favourites went out in the group stages making the semi finals nail biting games. Cormac and Seán faced each other in the final and it was Cormac who won.  Well done!
