It was a busy weekend for our underage teams. Saturday afternoon saw the P1s-P5s in action against Ballymartin. These games were much anticipated and they didn't disappoint the many spectators. The boys and girls played their matches with enthusiasm and exuberance showing off their skills throughout each game. These young stars were a joy to watch. It was a thoroughly entertaining afternoon for both the players and spectators. Thank you to Ballymartin for the invite and to Claire and Ronan for organising the games. Looking forward to the return fixture!
Next up on Sunday morning was a friendly against Drumgath for the P4s, P5s and P6s. Even though it was a friendly it was a highly competitive game and an immensely entertaining one. Well done to everyone and thank you to Drumgath for making the journey. Thank you also to Paddy Kelly for refereeing the game.

Sunday evening was the final U-10 league fixture away to Longstone. Last weeks game saw Longstone win by a point in what was a brilliant game of football so the return fixture was always going to be keenly contested. The players were certainly up for it from the start and some great football was on display. At half time though it was the home team who were in front by a goal. The young Glasdrumman squad were not going to give up and came out in the 2nd half with renewed vigour and soon found themselves level, at the final whistle it was Glasdrumman who were deserved winners by 2 points. These young kids showed a great attitude throughout the whole game and a determined strength of character to come back from a goal down to win the game. Well done boys and girls on a well earned win.
