Glasdrumman Notes we 24th May 2015

The u-12s once again had a busy weekend.  On Saturday they took part in the St Johns tournament.  After emerging from their group in 2nd place they progressed into the cup competition.  Despite playing some outstanding football the boys lost to a very strong Bredagh team in the semi final. Well done boys...quarter final of the cup last week and semi final this week, brilliant effort.
On Sunday it was an away league fixture against Atticall.  The Eire Og boys found themselves trailing by 2 points after the first few minutes but some excellent skills and passing secured a 2 point lead at half time.  A rejuvenated  team emerged from the break and soon found themselves in control of the game and eventual convincing winners.
U-12 training continues on wednesday from 6pm until 7.30pm at Quarter road pitch.
